The zine Meet Pick Cook Cycle documents the collaborative practice-based research journey into land stewardship practices that has unfolded in the Lagarina Valley over 4 months. The zine traces and reflects on how design and experimental tools can be used to explore land-related practices that aim to bridge the gap between conservation ecology and maintenance of livelihoods.
Illustrations, diary entries, maps, photographs and anecdotes invite the reader into the journey of trial and error, joy and wonder, mess and yumminess that Elie Seksig has undertaken in both secluded and convivial settings along a section of the EuroVelo cycling route crossing the Alps.
